complete, timely information on all returned items.
Our consolidated returns service is an effective method of consolidating
all your organization's returned checks into one bank, even if your
organization has multiple depository banks nationwide. As a result of
this consolidation, you receive consistent information on all returns
in one complete file or report, increasing your control over the collection
process.

The consolidated returns service requires the use of a special endorsement
showing our processing center as the bank of "first deposit"
on each deposited check at your depository bank. We can provide the
special endorsement stamp or we will work with your software vendor
to help create the proper endorsement necessary via your point-of-sale
equipment. With the endorsement showing our processing center as the
bank of first deposit, paying banks will send your returned checks to
us.
Once we receive a returned check we will electronically represent any
eligible items for a second presentment. This electronic presentment
can also be timed to debit the consumer's account on Friday, often their
payday, providing a better chance of collection. If the electronic presentment
is returned a second time, we can send the returned item directly to
you so your company can take appropriate collection action. Or, we can
provide check collection services via a third party vendor.
With consolidated returns, you receive complete, timely information
on returned checks, allowing you to expedite your collection process
and lower your costs. Plus, you can enjoy volume discounts when you
allow us to handle all of your returned checks.
